II exhibition in Madrid in November LIBRARY
If you seek more exhibitions which delight the eye this fall you have a few options in addition to the above post.
Two authors: Dürer and Cranach (Lucas Cranach the Elder). Both of the Renaissance in Germany is certainly a delicious temptation. A walk through the painting of that time in the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza , a luxury. You have until January 2008. More HERE.
Led by the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando comes a jewel of our country: The Modern Portrait in Spain from 1906 to 1936. A very interesting exhibition also includes portraits through Cubism, Surrealism, etc., In an artistic evolution. Could enjoy it until December 2, so hurry up that December is just around the corner! More HERE.
These and other proposals in Leisure Guide. Hala, devouring culture. Take advantage! ;)

Exhibit your work in exhibitions in Madrid Madrid
If you are an artist and want to showcase your work but do not have purchasing power, you're young and you still have the strength to continue fighting for your art? Check out what comes next:
"It's not that hard, if art is your thing, stay afloat in the ocean of the galleries where you can display your work.
Where to go without paying a heavy ?
As a first option I suggest that you inform the Directorate General for Youth of the Community of Madrid, located at No. 10, Calle Gran Via there have created for you a couple of programs known as Red for young artists. In the first you can participate until the thirty-one years under a photographic dossier of your work, an artistic curriculum and filling a form to become part of your template. His work consite in being the intermediary between over fifty rooms which expose and also free edit your invitations with your canvas. Have a second program in which selected each year to ten artists and exhibitions are all over Spain and Europe.
Expometro is another possibility. It consists of an exhibition area located in Metro Retiro. His office is in Cavanilles 58. Ask for the Office of External Relations and attend you very happy. If you do not convince any of the above, you have cultural centers in each district of the City of Madrid (Calle Conde Duque, 11) because, among its facilities, have a room where you can apply to exhibit and sell date your pictures, a drawback to consider is the long waiting time you must endure because they are much sought. And do not forget either that there is the large number of foundations, including the one sponsored by Caja Madrid, under the slogan Generation 2000 (obra social) concede becas y premios a jóvenes artistas, exponiendo en la feria Arco, editando un catálogo con sus obras y dotándoles de una cuantiosa suma y de un estupendo trampolín para el reconocimiento.
In summary, as you can see, have a variety of options to choose and promote your art. Today's hottest art trends seem to be changing from abstract prevailing in the last decades as hyper, which gradually gets better, though good work has no attachments and, of course, is not subject to the dictates of fashion.
I said, starting to move now, because YOU will be your best representative. "

pen and brush: a shabby-class work
Almost from the beginning of the species, human beings have felt the need to represent the things he saw around him, and for figures on the wall , the tiles of a church or canvas of an exhibition hall. And something curious, since in those pre-historic representations made use of a sixth finger to touch animal fur. Since then the brush has hardly changed in its essence, although it has been refined and adapted to the different techniques that emerged throughout history. Thus we can find many models in which the size and shape of the stick, thickness, and cut bristle types of meetings varies depending on its quality and use.
With civilization came other representation, written language, which in the beginning took many forms, whether in hieroglyphics, combinations of flowers, beads, or knots incisions ... The pen, which is also a useful tool for drawing, is closely linked to this new representation. The reed pen was initially an instrument as a brush without cut or slit, came after the cut reed pen, and later the cane tube itself. Although the Romans were already available in the pen-like devices made of bronze or copper, was the quill pen who replaced the reed pen, extending his rule throughout the Middle Ages until the eighteenth century when the pen is invented in yes. This invention is attributed to Luis Senefelder, father turn of lithography. In the early nineteenth Königeberg Bürger in charge of the pen to give the structure we use today: a small piece that fits into a toothpick. He is also Joseph Guillott the first steel mill and in series. As for the fountain pen was invented by Lewis Waterman who began to investigate following spill their ink on a major contract was about to sign.
And human history is still with us that we are using these tools. Procrastination Disaster

RX Here again ...
As I said earlier in a post, the grouping is leveraged for a while until we get our act together. Things did not look very well, I think so ... As administrators, now Procrastination and I just stayed. I am personally committed to update the blog about news or trivia to find and that may be of interest to those who read us. So there goes that ...
1) From November 5 the design center of Madrid has opened its doors. Located in the old slaughterhouse Legazpi in Madrid: Paseo de la Chopera, 14. This blog is an article on the topic: http://blog.deidigital.com/nuevo-centro-de-diseno-de-madrid/ (copy and paste, my mac does not allow me to create shortcuts on blogger, or Bold and italic ...)
2) The encounter with illustrators V Professionals during the month of November. APIM organizes it and you can find more info on the web FADIP (www.fadip.org)
3) And last but not least, remember the date of the next Expocomic in Madrid: 28 and 29 November and 1 and 2 December (www.expocomic.com)
Regards and until the next publication!
